Finally, after almost 4 days of testings and working on this video, I bring you my X-Plane 11 VR performance analysis with benchmarks, using Pimax 8K and Pimax 5K+.
Expect a new updated video coming with the RTX 2080Ti of course as well…soon!
Hope you will find it interesting and helpful - and please give the video some love!
Thanks a lot @SweViver for this amazing video! I highly appreciate your effort in finding optimal settings and tweaks which enables all X-Plane 11 flightsimmers a fantastic starting slot to take off with the Pimax headsets! I’m really looking forward to see your RTX 2080 Ti Benchmarks and to receiving my own start clearance.
After watching your video about The forest I have spent over a 150 hours chopping down trees and building tree houses and walkways and then flame arrows he he I love it
I apologize for my english and possible misunderstanding. I’m trying to say that when you only talk about the differences between the pictures on different devices - this can be interpreted in different ways. Words are subjective. Comparing 8k, 5k + and viva pro with a photo through the lenses in the same perspective, they will transmit information much better. Unfortunately, not all backers have the opportunity to test the Odyssey, Vive Pro and compare your words with reality.
On those pictures in normal and small FOV 5k + looks clear, but on a big fuk 8k it looks better. The bright color palette does not allow to evaluate the color rendition, but the MRTV video eLite Dangerouus clearly shows the difference at the current moment.
Is The Forest playable now? I think I tried it when it was early access(?) a few years ago(?) and stuttery as hell @EnerelStain yes I didn’t understand either, sorry
I plays fine for me on a overclocked 1080ti . It needs a bite of polish but it runs fine . I think Sweviver has said it needs a fast video card for the Pimax so I hope his 2080ti is enough.
Hey mate! There’s so much I want to try, its a difficult decision haha, we will see Made a poll btw, to get an idea of what you prefer to see:
Haha yep I know the feeling - Forest VR is fantastic! Looking forward to see if it finally gets playable with a good frame rate. There has been some updates lately, I heard?
