so do i when i’m in a vehicle, i use an xbox controller when on foot and that’s where the problem is after i get out of a vehicle. i’ll be testing it without mods later so will find out if a mod is to blame (it probably is - and i doubt it’s lukes).
edit: removed all mods (re-installed the game), tested it - all fine, then added just the real vr mod, and the problem remains 
gonna say it - i think lukes gta 5 vr mod no longer works properly. such a shame. f*ck take poo.
- Just roll back the game version. (Use steamdb.info to get desired manifest and depot I’d)
- Set game on to only update on launch.(To prevent auto updating)
- Set steam into offline mode before playing.

Fantastic idea, didn’t think of that. I’ve not got Steam version of gta 5 though, i have it on Rockstar. But surely there’s a way to roll back the version on there too, will do some research. Failing that i’ll buy it on Steam, i’ve checked - the Steam key can be bought quite cheaply - and do what u posted. Thanks.
Edit: found a YT vid that instructed me to rollback game version on rockstar, all sorted, works fine

First time posting here, usually I can troubleshoot issues on my own but this one has me stumped.
I started playing CP2077 a few days ago with Luke’s VR mod and it worked really well, then I decided to look into some mods to push a few more frames. I installed the config overhaul mod along with the heavily customized optimization mod both from nexus and for whatever reason they made the game become horribly jittery, not framerate wise, but parts of the screen would flicker and jutter every few frames. I tried uninstalling the mods which didn’t work, and even a complete uninstall of the game didn’t work for whatever reason, and it doesn’t matter whether or not I force vsync on or off. At this point I’m relegated to only playing in flatscreen. Has anyone else experienced this?

When you uninstalled the game did u do manually delete the directory afterwards to make sure everything was deleted? If u uninstall from your launcher ie steam, sometimes files that u added like mods get left behind, so when u re-install they are still there to screw up your install.

Did anyone optimized cp2077 with lukes mod ? graphic settings ect ?
On a 4090 ? I did thinker arround this evening, raytracing kills it,…
So im on high somehow, it also does render over 4 k with a SS of 82 %, which i do not understand.
I have graphics settings on mostly high, resolution maxxed, RT off, DLSS on quality.

I found that the picture is not so clear.
So i did turn of film grain and stuff like that, night city looks cool, but it has to much noise, somehow.That is what i want to change.
Any ideas ?

ah yes, film grain, i turned this off too. for me now i don’t see any noise in the image but i don’t know what is causing it for you, sorry.

yeah i got to find that out about what it is or if it is something in the driver settings…
i use old luke ross mods, i do wonder why the new ones have such a high version number anything better to the mod ?

i’m using the latest version of the mod (i signed up to his patreon for this month), before that i had 1 of the first versions of the mod, from about february i think. it could be placebo but i think the mod has improved in that time.

i also got 3…2. or something like that newest is ,8 dot something, so i did think how can it be 5 versions 
already…

Yeah on quest, the best thing is to crank the resolution. RT is not worth it, I barely see the visual difference. And I have better things to do than stare at puddles.
Something else I noticed.
I am running 4000x3800. (approx) per eye.
So technically that’s like 2 4k screens stacked on top of each other per eye.
That’s literally 8K
Guess Pimax was not so wrong with their naming after all.

Hey i have an 8KX again now, i still have the quest too. But LR mods don’t work properly on my 8KX for some reason. It’ll be something my side that’s wrong. But yeah cyberpunk maxxed out apart from RT looks great on quest. I use the 8KX for almost everything else, i missed not having an 8KX, great hmd especially for sims.

Last I checked I.had no issues, what are you experiencing, you can’t run on any FOV higher than Normal or things get weird fast.
HAHA, no one in their right mind can truly leave a Pimax headset without regret.
At the end of the day no matter how good the headset, if it doesn’t have a 200 degree FOV you will always come back.
It’s one of the reasons I won’t trade up to the Crystal. I find whenever I play a game on another headset In the back of my mind I’m thinking, “but what if the FOV was wider?”

there’s a weird warping thing going on with the picture, it’s hard to describe, almost like i’m underwater, it’s definitely not how it should be. it’s fine with other games and the LR mods work with my quest 2. i think using the quest 2 and 8kx alternately may be screwing things up, idk, but it’s my end where the problem is, it’s not the mods. i’ll try them again today.
yeh i missed the 8kx and its fov. i was sitting there with my little Q2 considering a varjo aero again or the 8kx and pimax won. i very nearly reserved a crystal but like you i want the fov, so it’ll be a 12k and nothing else for me. EDIT: Lol, my self discipline is rubbish! Just reserved a Crystal.
