We are talking about launching via Pitool 
Revive is also being discussed however I also tried from PiTool and the gameplay was fine but the main menu was unusable.
is there already a fix?I have also the problems on the pimax 8kxā¦
asgard wrath and phantom cover ops the screen goes crazy
i am on the latest pitool and firmwareā¦ i also did try pitool 262 but the problem was also there

Man I MUST play that game on 8KX why havenāt they fixed this yet?
So theres no issue with the 8kX and firmware 261?
will it prevent me from using the eye tracking and Pimax Experience?
@Miracle i know you said that the devs were working on a fix.
you cant use Pimax experience and i think eye tracking doesnt work good with that pitool version
Hey they just broke it in 262. The will need time to unbreak it 
. In the mean time you can always jump back and forth between 261 and 262 (same fw) fairly quickly if youāre desperate to play AW.

I hate updating firmware because on my main pc it always fails.
so i end up having to unplug the pimax and put into my other media server pc and flash it over there with DFU.
so not convenient. 
You missed my point. You donāt need to change FW just install PT 261 or 262 as needed. They use the same firmware.

oh so its pitool eh? i wonder if itās possible to install them side by side?
Maybe i install 261. rename the folder to pitool 261, and then install 262
then just rename the folders when i want to switch
Hope this gets fixed soon. Oculus games are some of the best out there.
Pimax has duplicated the issue and is working on it. Until then I would just install PT261 when I wanted to play AW or one of the other affected Oculus titles. and 262 if I wanted eye tracking. It only takes a few seconds to install PT. You donāt even need to do a clean install. Heck, PT installs faster than AW loads.

it worked! you had issues with shaky cam? and could get past the difficulty selection screen?
What piTool were you using because anything < 262 is known to work

A bit late but you dont need to roll back that far to fix the issue. 261 is ok.

If you note my more recent posts in this thread, I have been using 261 for some time.
