Please reply to me. Thanks
Hi.
The email address is support@pimaxvr.com.
I think it should be made clear that replacement lenses are only going to help people who have a specific properly diagnosed issue, and not everyone who experiences some degree of blur.
If the center is in focus, but the edges are not, new lenses aren’t going to help you. It’s normal for the optics in a VR headset to get blurry toward the edges, to one degree or another. If the center is clear, you have optics with the correct spacing (the replacement optics are for those who got units that had lenses that weren’t a proper match for the spacing of the lens holders).
Some people have imperfect vision but they don’t know it. This happens all the time with the Rift and the Vive. People blame the lenses when it is really their eyes. When I wear my prescription glasses with the PIMAX 4K the blur is horrible. This is because, again, I have a unit with the wrong lens spacing. But I bet there are people out there who would solve their blur problem with glasses, just as people do with the Rift and the Vive.
So please try to be sure before hassling anyone for replacement lenses and then going to the trouble of disassembling and reassembling your PIMAX 4K.
(I’m not a PIMAX representative, I’m just someone who is anticipating a problem)
My replacement lenses arrived a couple of days ago and I installed them last night. The process was quick and easy.
The good news:
The replacement lenses have indeed fixed the problem I was having with blur. If I wear my prescription glasses now everything is crystal clear. And surprisingly the headset is usable even without my glasses. If I don’t use corrective lenses of some sort in the Rift the blur is quite significant, but the PIMAX does much better (I have some degree of myopia).
The not-so-good news:
The replacement lenses protrude further from the headset, and are therefore closer to my eyes. This means that I can’t wear the headset as tightly as I would like to with the existing facial interface. So I am going to have to find a solution for this (a different facial interface perhaps, or an elegant way of padding out the existing one).
But at least the headset is usable now. With the optical problem solved now I’m just waiting for the engineers to come up with a way to provide a method of increasing the brightness of the display, if they can.

How did you get in contact with pimax for the replacement lenses? Can you send me the info? I just got my unit today, and I have the blurry center problem.
Could you tell us when and from which seller you purchased your PIMAX?
Pimax support > thank you for my lenses and installation video, very happy!
I have edited related guide of replacement of lens, reference to guys who met this blurry issue as follows:
Repair Guide of Lens

They gave me the tracking number for my lenses 6 days ago, but it always says error when checking in this web:
Is that normal ?
I stoped playing Dying Light because I was worried about my eyes …
Can’t wait to play it again, it’s amazing in RV !!!
I have tracked well…
They tacking works now, my lenses are in London, I’m so eager to test them.
Reading all that people about how “sharp” is the image with the Pimax 4K !!!
I’m not specifically sure my issue is related, but I wanted to get some info about the lenses.
I received my unit a few days ago now. Besides having to wrestle with software, the major issue I’m running into is chromatic aberration. At the middle of the screen it’s almost non-existent, but look with your eyes off center even a tiny bit and its a rainbow city. By the time my eyes get to the edge of the screen the stars in the Pimax background are 3 separate color stars.
Is this the same experience that others are having or have I simply received the wrong lenses in my set?
I have the issue with unfocused center of lenses! Everything above and bellow center is clear, but in center its not clear when I look at anything.
I see that some ppl have got replacement lenses and I would very much replace mine to so I can play my game without moving my view up or down to see clear.
I bought mine in 18/5 2017 from GearBest.
I do not know how to come in contact with support any other way then this.
Hi. Did you manage to resolve the lens blur issue.
I have the same problem.
Iam waiting to hear from Pimax as I have asked for some new lenses.
They told me to send the headset back to GearBest, but I have to pay to send it back so I will have paid for the pleasure of trying a headset I can’t use.
Got my fingers crossed they will resolve this problem
Hi, is your email: shaunXXX@XXXmail.com?
As you know, we have one batch of units occured this issue of blurry center and sharp edges in the first half of last year, because of they were assembled with wrong holders.
But after that, this issue doesn’t appear in later units. As per the serial number(102xxx) you provided, it belongs to our latest batch which should not have this issue. So I think the issue of blurry center may not be solved by replacing new lens.
We will give you a reasonable solution soon : )
Hi
I seem to have the problem that other people had on there units.
This is not the main problem now. I found out yesterday that the units that start with serial number 102 are now fitted with QHD OLED displays @ 1440 (2.5K) where as the older ones with serial number that start with 100 have UHD LCD displays @ 3840 x 2160 (4K).
I ordered a PIMAX 4K but GearBest sent me the 2.5K version.
I want this replacing with the 4K version that I ordered and I don’t want to pay to ship this one back, I think PIMAX or GearBest should cover the cost for the return as I have been miss sold a product.
Yes, you’re right. We will discuss a solution free of charge for you soon, please be patient.
By the way, is your email above?
Hi
Thanks you
Yes that is my email
