Hi zyyzyyzyy1 nice Name i get my pimax 4k yesterday and what should i say Blurry blurry blurry i can not understand how you can wear this pimax 4k longer as 1 hour after this time your eyes are falling out of your head.i Need 2-3 hours after wearing this pimax to see 100% normal again. And the second Problem are the crashes with the piplay Software i restart my Computer the last hours i think 40 times. How Long do you think to solve this mega Problem because now i have 44 days to send it back to gearbest. i think i will wait the next days maybe we get answers from pimax We have already got that reason about it, and we are contacting the gearbest to make a solution. We will tell all of the customer as soon as possible. please make it fast because 44 days are fast gone. you write you have no Problems in asia maybe the heads and eyes are different. I realy like thie pimax but with this failure i would send it back. but lets wait agaist your hopefull fast answer. Have a nice day.

Blurry problem, our boss is discussing with gearbest. I don’t know the result yet.
hi thx for your fast answer i use the latest Software. Piplay 1.1.74. and the latest Firmware 1.0.0.194 with the nvidia 980sc with I7. and Windows 10 .The crashes are not the biggest Problem for me its the blurry. Yesterday in write exact this to gearbest what you write before with the blurry Problem. Lets wait a few days and hope your boss and gearbest find a solution for all because the price is more than ok but it should work fine too. I like that you work hard on the Software but i am affraid there is a lense Problem.
So, this is a hardware problem.
Any talks about software or lens coating is nonsense to anyone who has a basic knowledge in optics geometry.
Some of you had paid attention that pixels themselves is blurred, so it’s not a screen resolution or something.
We are talking about design flaw, engineers error - focus point distance miscalculation between lenses and a screen.
There is only two ways to fix it:
1} - To move the lenses away from the screen to a right focus point. (mechanic myopia regulation)
2} - To replace the flawed lenses to ones with right surface curvature (myopia unit of lenses)
SO, WHAT WILL COMPANY OFFER US AS A SOLUTION?
The solution is send it back and tell anyone that the Pimax 4K dont work correct. Pimax would like make Money with a Device who had a lot of Problems. Pimax write that the Speak with Gearbest to find a solution but Gearbest know nothing about this. Pimax write that the sell Tons of Pimax 4k in Asia without Problems but that cannot be true.

The ONLY option is to send it back.
How this blurry POS got past quality control is beyond me.
The only solution would be to offer a set of different lenses.
I have to wear very strong reading glasses to get any kind of reasonable image, but not perfect and this makes a joke out of having this a 4K resolution unit. It wouldn’t be clear at any resolution at the moment.
Pimax will very quickly fail because it seems they are not supporting the current customers.
The only help seems to be from other users and not the company.

Thanks for your patient. we have received three batch(total 7 units) with center blur issue. all this units have been done detailed analysis, now we think we found all rootcuase, this
issue mainly comes from two reasons:
1. 2 units’ lens coating has big issue.
2. 5 units lens holder mismatched . we have two version lens with different materials:
version 1.0 is COP (opcital focus F0 is 34mm) , version 2.0 is PMMA K26A combined( optical focus F0 is 37mm). since version 1.0 and version 2.0 focus is different. so we using different height lens holder to match. that’s to say, version 1.0 lens must use lower holder, and version 2.0 lens must use higher holder. While this 5 units we found version 2.0 lens with lower holder. we think some older holders were mixed in new holder parts during assemble in the manufactory. we’re so sorry for this production issue. and all the lower holder parts have been well quarantined now.
After stock check in the factory, we believe that there’re about 2-3% units(20-30units) with mismatched lens holder were shipped to oversea markert. for myopia person, it won’t cause issue, but for normal sight person, this optics mismatched unit will cause center blur issue.
we’re sorry and we offer two solutions for this issue:
1. send us your address, we privide two lens wih correct holder sub- assembled and assemble manual, then you guys could change the lens by yourselves.
2. we’r trying to coordinate our sales channel to handle this issue.

Thank you for investigating and keeping us customers informed of your findings. The PIMAX HMD has great potential. I have two suggestions related to the offered solution:
- Send the replacements right away via expedited shipping.
- If lenses without the blue light coating will make the image brighter then also offer to send replacements without the coating.
- Sell a kit to convert the lenses without the coating ( if it will make the image brighter).

Thanks for your effort. I had already known about this lens center blur issue for my community(VR MANIAC) chief’s Pimax 4K review.
in fact, many of my community users had complains of this issue after their buying, and they have been a lot of inconviniency in use a pimax 4K.
even some of them disassembled the pimax 4k and tryed to investigate the cause. but all their efforts were in vain, only out of work.
now i ran it to my community and reported this news.

I got my Pimax withut any bluring issue. Its very good and sharp (and i use IPD 63mm without problem). But overall your lenses focus different from Oculus, Vive and Deepoon E2. Lenses has equivalent focus distance 0.52 m, and oculuc, vive and deepoon e2 has 2.5-3 meter. Your focus autoadjust system it’s just short focus distance and human eye autofocus system:)
I would like to know this as well. Have replacement lenses been shipped to everyone who asked for them? How were they shipped? When should we expect them to arrive?
I don’t have center blur issue, but i have egde blur issue. The last 10% on the edge of the lens is blurry.
I have a french cardboard (Homido V2) where lenses are 100% clear. Yes, it’s doable.
I would pay the price for lenses 100% free of blur.
