About the lens center blur issue

Sorry to see some guys have the lens center blur issue with Pimax 4K VR in the forum.
We have released this product to in Asia market for months, have not see many cases of blur issue
Our engineers are working on the solutions now.

Why not just tell us how to use the “focus adjustment” that it’s advertised as having?

I have the same issue. It seems to be a hardware issue not software…

I’m sure we can all see the vertical “wires” when looking through the optics from a distance (presumably these are demisters/defoggers?), but does anyone else see a much wider transparent vertical band behind the left lens? I see one through the right lens as well, but it’s at the far right. This band creates a shadow that I can see when wearing the HMD. In fact I can even see the wires.

I’d like to know more about the mechanics of this headset so we can start brainstorming intelligently about possible solutions for all the problems.

focus autoadjust - it’s just your eyes, but not lenses :slight_smile:

Blur issue affecting my brand new pimax also… No possible way to adjust to avoid it?

I really hope this is a software problem and not the optics…

Released for months in Asia and still have this problem? We need a solution about this lenses. I Will not recommend this hdm for the moment.

In Asian market, we have already solved this problem. But maybe oversea version’s problem and Asian version problem are not the same problem. So we are still checking. Thank u for your waiting.

Can someone please give me an HONEST answer? , before I decide to return this…
Is this blur issue EVER going to get fixed? i_s it hardware or software that is the problem_ ?, because if its the optics then there is no choice but to return it.

We have already got that reason about it, and we are contacting the gearbest to make a solution. We will tell all of the customer as soon as possible.

I was just about to write the same thing, THIS should be sticked on the top, Also a simple question…, is it a software issue? or is it hardware/optics ??? If its optics then there is no hope for a solution, this leads me to believe why they are ignoring this question.

But the lens coating explanation is not making a whole lot of sense to me.

Until someone explains how it works, or how it’s supposed to work, instead of ignoring every request for additional details, I will remain of the opinion that the optics are fixed and work in the traditional manner, and therefore can’t automatically correct for anything.

I send a mail two days ago and still waiting and answer. Im sure its a optics problem. And they are ignoring us.
