No world scale problems here, only the weapons in Serious Sam looks huge(compared in Vive). They look huge and feels lightweight, brain conflict.

Well keep in mind if Frodo plays Serious Sam the scale might be about right. :beers::smirk::+1::sparkles:

no nothing helps, i think this is a IPD problem, just can’t get close enough to each other the lenses.

Go to internet browser
http://localhost:8998/console/index.html
then input
settings steamvr.ipdOffset scalehereInMeters
0 is default I’m using -0.0056 to make a few games have realistic gun sizes or -1

this doesn’t change anything for me, maybe a other setting that i’am missing?

It’s not ipd. Iike I said before. It all changed when I plugged my mates pimax5k+ in to test it. I understand your frustration as it was a pain. I’d play games like Robinson and I’d have huge hands. Now everything is perfect. Just wish I could help more as I’m sure that’s all I did. Well that and upgrade to 111 pitool

Do you have now on any IPD setting the same world scale?

It doesn’t matter what ipd setting is the world scale is the same for me. Well I’m sure it was. Mine is rma at moment.

Can you try it in another pc?

Did yesterday a new Installation of steam pitool all drivers, unplug monitor, change dvi ports, usb ports but nothing changed. Will try today, to install it on another pc or maybe i need to flash a another firmware but pimax support isn’t answering. Good to know that the reason isn’t the ipd.

Got a answer from support and they wrote that they know the IPD problem but can’t do anything and for the big world problem they just don’t answer it. This is so frustrating when you pay over 700 for a headset and just don’t get any help.

World scale & ipd sometimes seems to be by program. There is a thread on htc where someone has ED being small with low ipd.

As for the ipd issue they’ve made a pickle by not fixing the pamphlet as no posted specs on website (KS Specs & Pimaxvr sales page)state ipd range.

From checking in general 60mm is a current VR limitation.

Saw also a post in which people could edit the steam config for IPDOFFSET to get the right world scale. On my VIVE no matter which IPD i set i alwas got the right world scale. And after few years of VR this 20% increas is so annoying now that it isn’t fun to play. Hope Pimax will answer my question about this and maybe through a firmware update or so solve this. After the suddenly fix from @Decapper i got now hope that there is a easy fix. I tested it in Project Cars 2 because there is a option for world scale and my optimum was about 86 - 88. A Pitool feature with scale edit would be amazing, so many problems would be easy fixed

I believ the ED small scale is a ED thing, saw some posts in which people were complaining only in this game and everything was in right scale.

If you consider as have seen it in other games. The game dev should have world scaling option built into the game as newer headset tech is apt to re introduce this issue often.

I realy wan’t to love this headset but the world scale problem make it unplayable for me, it’s just not immersive when you see the bigger world and hands, i can realy live with the distortion and not 100% clear image on both eyes but that scale problem it’s more than annoying. I’m nearly at that point to try to sell the headset and just wait for the vive eye or valve headset.
