@Genesis Do you know what is the best way to use index controllers for a game and for another game vive controllers without unpairing and re-pairing the controllers every time?
Also, in these days many people are receiving the Index Controllers, with a pair of Wands they would like to use as trackers in Natural Locomotion and other applications.
The current PiTool way is wrong, I hope the new beta incoming is different
Also the guys with gun stocks and index controllers probably want to use both sets easily. In fact I would like to use an index controller on my left hand and a vive controller on my right hand but I doubt that it will ever be possible.
You can have both Index and Vive controllers paired to the same Pimax headset so long as you only have one pair of controllers powered on at any given time.
I used Vive Pro and Index controllers to test it out - turn on the Vive controllers first and pair them to the headset, then turn off the Vive controllers, turn on the Index controllers and pair them to the headset. After pairing, make sure both pairs of controllers are turned off then turn on the pair of controllers you want to use.
He wants to mix them. 1 index Controller & 1 Vive wand in a gun stock.
Still possible. I now know how to edit the steamvr files and make it compatible with anything. Just message me and I can help you.
@Genesis Thanks, that works although when I paired the 2nd Vive controller it stayed disconnected and only rebooting the pc caused it to be recognised.
[EDIT] Combination of controllers is also working now, perfect.
Yeah, definitely this. Itβs one of the primary reasons i bought the wands and basestations, knowing I could use them as trackers in NatLo and elsewhere later.
