The simple truth. Testers are backers. It is ridiculous to be concerned of the m1 issues. Since when backers receive the headsets. The m2 is not under NDA. So any issue identified that if still present can be discussed freely.
As another user pointed out anything a consumer buys often have teardown reviews. This is also why StarVR is likely to price it very high to discourage risk of breaking the headset.

Exactly. If the m2 is the final backer version (which it seems to be), all the testers are getting the m2 as they are all backers. They might not get it in time to prepare a review for September 16th, but they should have it well before any non-backers are able to preorder. The backers among us only really need the reviews to adjust our hype levels and choose between 5k and 8k.
Iād hope the testers are all on a priority list for the m2 at least?
