And if that is so, then what offence does it cause for the testers to compare them. What harm does it do. What do you or i lose by it.
Iām pretty sure they are busy more important things than comparing to 4k whitch btw is full of issues

For Pimax 4K, 5K+ and 8K. I hope we do not need Vive or Oculus at this point.
Saying that however, I believe also to what @Yata_PL mentioned several times already that probably the comparison between 4K, 5K+ and 8K should not be limited to SDE comparison only. He claims that 5K+ is superior to 4K in every other aspect.
I do not have Pimax 4K, nor have tried it, but from what I read about it, it is not something I would want, so I can hardly follow why it is so important to make it a baseline for 5K+ and 8K reviews. Even if SDE of 5K+ and 8K will be only equal to 4K, they would still look to me as far better products. Besides I tried to look it up, but did not find any claim from Pimax that 5K or 8K should have better SDE than 4K (in fact in KS Campaign, Pimax used 4K shots to visualize the picture quality of 8K).

hhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmmm ,i wouldnāt bet on that. Now team 4k have a through the lens m2 shot, one of them can take a through the lens 4k shot of said game and show it off.
Now this could cause much fuckery, because there is no way to know camera distance from 8k lens bar fact no kind of edge or lens warping is visible in top or bottom, so no way to know how much of fov we are seeing here. but if they post an image like this with less fov, it will start a through the lens shot war. XD

@Sjef: so my question, which was about the response of 4K user in Berlin to the M2, is not relevant when you respond to my question - instead you refer to the Spanish testers, who were not in Berlin, and the m1. You are insulting my intelligence if you think that I donāt even notice this kind of obvious avoidance & redirection tactics.
I am checking out right here & now, Iāve learnt the lesson from last time.
@all others: I am glad that the release is imminent, otherwise there would have been the risk to have the project being hijacked by people who are in search of the ideal headset for purposes, which do not align with the use case for the majority, which will be simply using the headset for gaming. No absolute perfection required. The same way how most of us can live well with CD audio, even MP3, while a few will complain that SACD is just really not nearly good enough and buy equipment for 20.000.

You really donāt seem to get the point that the Spanish guys did all kinds of tests, side by side, even removing lenses, put them on the other device, test again etc. And you give more importance to a guy who had the HMD 5 seconds on his head (literally in some videoās this happened). And youāre talking about insulting intelligence?

I asked a simple question. And yes, I know you did not like the answer you would be forced to give - that the few 4K users in Berlin did not tremble in terror, other than what you predicted more than once.
If`you donāt want to respond, donāt respond. But - donāt insult my intelligence. I am perfectly capable of understanding what I asked and when somebody is not answering but trying to place his agenda - better, vendetta against Pimax.

Just saying, when somebody says āyouāre insulting my intelligenceā then thatās not adding to the discussion at all, itās just about provoking a reaction, hence trolling. Thereās no need for such aggressive remarks. Furthermore I agree about your insults remark.
Iāve watched that video multiple timesā¦ at no time do I get that response from that German fellowā¦ when asked about the resolution he saysā¦ āI think I see some screen-doorā ā¦ thatās not exactly displeasure nor was that a comparison to the 4Kā¦ Germans donāt get easily excitedā¦ I know, because Iām German! But what I donāt understand because Iāve gotten into this debate beforeā¦ does the M2 provide lesser resolution and more SDE than the V2 model? Because I own the 4K and I tried the V2 model, I was not disappointed! When I backed the 8K, I wanted a serious upgrade to the 4Kā¦ today, Iām hoping the 8K will be an upgrade to my Samsung instead!
