Of course you’re the only one defending this shit. The fact that you cannot see how biased they are doesn’t surprise me in the slightest.
The article did mention the 2 usb-c ports for modules.
So you gonna ignore how mrtv said he loves the 5k+ and how glowing voodoo’s review was about the 8k huh? sweviver genuinely lives in your head rent free. Get a life dude and stop hating on someone who loves doing what he does…
I don’t quite understand your stance on this. So Pimax needs to bring something new to the table to be 2nd gen, and you don’t count wide FOV or higher resolution screens because the tech already existed even if it wasn’t for a consumer market?
So what would you say was 2nd gen? Surely by this definition Oculus could release a wireless, wide fov, 4k per eye, light weight HMD with eye tracking, hand tracking, smell effects and full body tracking and this would not be 2nd gen because all this tech already exists right? Or is there a threshold where a certain number of these features in one headset pushes it to 2nd gen?
Being critical is hyped as well. Hype works both ways just checkout a soccer game.
And me whom defends both @Pumcy & @oscar_rov reviews?
I see validity in both. I don’t need to hear it’s all good. Both Articles have valid points.
I made a list think it’s in mrtv’s 8k hate rant.
You are delusional lol. How is wide FOV, aka the biggest and most important immersion factor and the #1 thing that made all three m2 testers NOT want to go back to the current gen headsets, just a “fancy feature”…? I’m sorry but that is just dumb. And second, there’s NO consumer headset with bigger than 110 fov and there won’t be for a while. + how the hell are you comparing it to starvr which isn’t even a consumer device…?!? none of this makes any sense and you know it.
Anyways we’ll truly see in a week or so when the 100 backers get their headsets and actually compare it to the current gen headsets that are available right now. Not headsets that ‘might’ exist in a few years…
Sure, but he meant it the other way. that we hype everything up, thats a false statement
We do both just like soccer fans.
yeah i posted in another thread last night after reading this review and it was definetly 3/5 it looks like the changed it. 3/10 is bad. hardly a reflection of what the m1 testers have been saying.
How is it delusional to say StarVR had a wide 5k headset first? It’s the truth. Find my grocery list of what folks will be looking for in gen2. Wide FoV is only 1 on the list.
Oke so there is no point for him doing this and claming this. He can defend himself, he only is responsible for this artikel.
You’re being rational. He just scolds pimax and sweviver whenever he gets the chance to. Trying to justify selling his backer bid. I don’t care what he does with his own money, but he’s always the loud guy in these threads where the review isn’t as expected and it’s really annoying…
Delusional comparing it to a non consumer headset.
it better be. 3/10 is not even close to what people who have tried it have been saying
its odd because its the same review. If it were 2 different reviews id understand .
And his article is fine ir sm I not allowed to have an opinion?
You must be refering to oscar? Because Pumcy doesn’t post that often & doesn’t scold either. Mind you not oscar either.
So guessing Sj.
No because the first StarVR was not that good. Next you will be criticizing RdtoVR for comparing the 3 wide FoV headsets. Or the dev at the berlin backup that compared to Xtal.
a review is an opinion on a platform. if people dont agree with review it is not end of the world. if they feel it misrepresents, well we live in an age where word of mouth has as much if not more weight. if the hundred backers getting their headsets speak up, there will be a very detailed overall picture of the headset.
