Yes thankyou at konger🙂
Same here!
It was a firmware problem.
I just follow steep by steep SweViver’s tutorial how to update firmware manually and now it works!!!
Thanks to all for your help and Happy New Year to all!!!
Saludos.

I’m a severely dictated som/irl racer and i have gone through all VR sets. Pimax is awesome when it works. Unfortunately it seem to work 20pct of tries.
I’ve spent more hours than I can count on this piece of junk (come on, updates auto… We’re users, not feking programmers) and I am literally going to give it away to someone I don’t care for.
Nice try, vision and ambition Pimax. Hope “V.2” actually works. Plug and play.
File a ticket. Support can get you fixed up.
Sorry for bringing up the old thread, but I am too curious.
Yesterday I went through a roller coaster with my 5KXR. I did not update driver or changed anything else but all of a sudden HMD stopped to get connected with 10600. I was about to buy 8KX instead, but tried reflashing my 5KXR (after seeing this thread) and guess what - problem got solved.
Any explanation what happened? Probably HMD is failing, right?
I can take a guess on this one. One of the issues with having things flashable is that overtime the storage media may possibly start to fail or even perhaps simply the data could be compromised in some way.
Gigabyte started to use a dual bios so if a flash failed you were not stuck with a paper weight. Asus has their own crashfree bios.
And pimax puts the bootloader in a rom. So if the firmware flash goes bad or the data becomes corrupted it can simply be reflashed as the bootloader is not itself writeable. This is one of the areas where pimax has definitely done things right in making paperweights less likely.

It will automatically upgrade your user account and add you to the Pimaxians group. Things are starting to move well there with feedback to improve the interface etc… your XP and feedback would be an asset.
