I think my problem is that my IPD is smaller than the minimum, it seems its only possible to get one eye at a time in focus which makes it look off the whole time.
What is your ipd?..
I donât have the exact number but on the smallest setting i can get one eye perfectly clear but the other is blurry unless i move the hmd. in other words the lens are still too far apart and so theres no real sweet spot

Um About IPD and fresnel lens in the PimaxâŚ
Just been looking at the lenses and in the Vive, if I get the center rings in line with my eyes I get the best clear picture , which alings with my IPD of 62.
Now with the Pimax I can not do the same thing as the center ring of the lens is to far apart, And measuring with digital calipers the center ring distance on the Pimax and the smallist distance apart they will go is 70.
So if you have an IPD of 70, you should be fine on IPD of 60, but for me I can see better with one eye and the other eye is slightly blurred.
You better hurry up and finish building your machine then

Hopefully the lessons learned from the recent shipping fiascos will help everyone receive their âbonusâ packages in good order. Also, since the build time will likely be shorter, they shouldnât need to spread shipping out over 3 months. (I assume and hope)
yup thats exactly my experience, I think thats why people like sweviver are so crazy about the 5k+ probably because they can hit that sweetspot.
