Hi, i pick up the 5k+ headset today. This night i will try it.
Want to know what version of pitool i should install and configurations i should use with a gtx 1080 .

REVIEW
BOX
The box its very nice and with premium feeling. Arrived in good condition and not very dirty but with some marks because of the shipping carton. I think pimax could put the box in some plastic to avoid this.
HEADSET
The headset / foam have an intense and uncomfortable chemical smell that i hope that reduce with time.
The plastic seems reasonably good and light but not so good like a vive pro. For now I dont have any cracks. its heavier than lenovo explorer but with a good headstrap i think could be fine.
I use glasses and i think my glasses touch or almost touches in lens and for this i think pimax should send a thicker foam. @PimaxUSA its possible?
In the lenovo my glasses fit perfectly and without problems
Light enter in the nose space can disturbes sometimes.
HEADSTRAP
I think the headstrap its the worst in pimax headset, i have a small head. i tried everything to fit well but cant.
The headset always falls on my nose which causes pain. I tried to put the foam of gear vr over the foam of pimax and helps a little but its not a solution. I think a thiker foam will help a little but pimax should send fast the rigid headstrap like psvr (the weight should fall on the back of the head and not on the nose). in this moment for me its a pain in the *** to use the headset only because of this.
LENS
I think they are very good for what its possible with the price and tecnology that exists.
I dont see many distortions but i see two vertical black line in the middle of vision that could disappear with a better position in the head. But for that i need a ticker foam and rigid headstrap. In the edges its blurry but not disturbing.
Changin IPD the only thing that do for me its to do more or less space between the two black vertical lines. this effect its very similar to rift than only have one vertical line and its more intense.
I see world moving when i rotate my head , but if i stay in the same position works fine and its not disturbing.
I dont now if with bases will be better.
Better sweet spot than lenovo
Almost no glare effect much better than lenovo
Didnt saw any god rays
SCREEN
No black dots 
Blacks are the same than lenovo (more grey) but colors and SDE a little better.
I can see mura effect when the screen is black or grey but in colors no.
I am having flickering white dots . They are more visible in blacks. maybe the problem its the cable?
FOV
Strangely normal and large FOV didnt gave me much WOW effect despite almost fills my vision. I think because we focus better in the middle than the sides, so dont matter if they are black or with game vision. i think its something that when i play more i will apreciate for sure.
PERFOMANCE
I have a gtx 1080 . Some games run fine like beat saber or lucky tale other very bad like redout even with smooth on. Need a better Gpu to full potential.
SOFTWARE
the installation was easy and user friendly but i dont have lighthouses and controllers so i did not have tracking problems.
FINAL TOUGHTS
For me the headset its not perfect but for sure its a step further than lenovo explorer so im happy with that. Some people will apreciate more than others because of the headshape. In this moment i cant apreciate because of the horrible headstrap and dont have money to buy one or do one with 3d print. I need a thiker foam or lens frame and I need a better machine.
Pimax you have to hurry with the rigid headstrap, lighthouses and controllers. Send now at least one thiker foam for backers that use glasses and send lens frame. this will help many users to be more happy with the headset.
