Just look how much time is passed since FB/Oculus launched first commercial product, and they are still at research after two years of launch, and they stated not to expect the CV2 very soon…with all the founds they can spare, and some people expect Pimax to get id done in less than a year…Jesus…

Please i actually really want to know what your evidence for this statement is. What parts on the part list from the v1 have changed in order to save money, because afaik the chipset has been pretty locked down since v1 bar the connection ports. Can you show me a comparison of the parts costs between v1 and 5. How did people get this information?
With the lenses, given they were noted as ‘especially’, can you give me a breakdown of the difference between the two lenses and where the saving are made. Because if you can do that and there is a notable difference you could have made a very strong post from the get go, with a strong argument. Right now you have an assertion.
I couldn’t care less about making a poll about it.
Its just that I’m feed up with a today’s use of polls in general, leading and loaded questions everywhere that are made that way to support an opinion and not to expand knowledge

It is still a very unproductive form…it has very little consistency if we just create polls to prove our individual point.
If it was Pimax doing such a poll asking their backers “Happy with this feature ?” , YES or NO…it was completely another matter, since such a poll would have lead to a productive material result, not confirming someone’s anxiety and just taking part in a war of views (nonsense…)
See what I have seen on the forum the last few months is something different.
Two extremely vocal small minorities on each side, and the general public not giving a sh*t.
One side screaming that Pimax are liars etc.
The other side defending every single thing in absurdum.
Both using retoric bordering or even crossing the line of personal attacks. It has stopped being venting and turned into something really toxic, helping no one, especially not the community. Glad that both really are a small minority though.
