I’m someone interested in buying the Pimax 8k and in its success, but IMHO slogans like “Never be so clear” are hindering it.
So I thought maybe we could suggest something and who knows Pimax team may find something they like.
Some of my suggestions are:
“VR has never been so sharp”
“VR has never been so gloriously crisp before”
“Pimax 8k, you have to see to believe”
“Pimax 8k, making real life look pixelated”
“Pimax 8k, field of view so great you will forget that you are in VR”
Hehe
Or:
“pimax, when 8k equals 2x4k”
“pimax, where promises are being made easily”
“pimax, when you don’t care about support”
“pimax, maybe one day you can actually use our resolutions natively !”
“pimax, who cares about 90 hz anyway ?”
Hehe. Just messing around. I like my Pimax. I just wish they were a bit more forth coming with info and would work a bit harder to fix the problems we’re facing. Or just open up source code and let the community fix the problems
Its not that simple. For slogan things should be official because of coppy rights and other issues.
If it is official contents and if this slogan will be officialy use and to be possible use at all this need to be official content with some price.
Only than Pimax start to be owner of this slogan and those who are author of the slogan will be rewarded (payed) for copyright.
No, but I read about Pimax 4k a lot, and some people are saying the resolution makes a big difference for watching 2D content on Virtual Desktop or playing simulators (Elite Dangerous, DCS).
Despite the native resolution and software issues of the Pimax 4k that seems to disappoint users, Pimax 8k is way ahead of any other VR manufacturer in FOV and resolution, so I think it would be wise to advertise about its strong points.
I hope the Kickstarter can help fix some of the current issues.
The resolution is better than others but the benefit can’t be fully realized because the screen is too dark, there is blur when moving your head, and no manual focus. It’s also upscaled to 4K. The software is buggy and the support is hit-or-miss. I would suggest curbing some of your enthusiasm until you have first hand experience with the product.
