Ahh ok so it was a temporary measure to cut the edge blur off which resulted in slightly lower FOV.

Atm yes that seems to be a reasonable hypothesis though it may also become a feature as well judging by some of the details PimaxUSA shared on it. Only time will reveal if this setting becomes a feature or just a temporary setting for testing.

That was there because the final distortion profile wasnt ready for 42 ppd.

What is the controller current battery playtime and is that the high precision mode? If so has the other mode on hold till a good balance established?

Afaik according to a Pimax employee it’s over 4 hours. I don’t know if it’s high precision mode, the latest feedback on them (from CES) seemed to be more positive than negative.

There is no official information on crystal and 12k deliveries, technical progress and software for these 2 helmets.???
When will they be on sale on amazon? When the gamers who pre-ordered the crystal will be live, it’s March 8, 2023 anyway!!
