Any normal VR related rag/site/enthusiast has all those channels subscribed on Reddit. You can not miss the news on your Reddit home page and the Pimax event was a busy time for articles. So to not know about it is quite bizarre.

I posted this after the meetup but it is worth repeating since RTVR was quite willing to report the negatives and backer anger back in Jan (CES).

I don’t think that kind of comment is warrented. Ben already was consulted on a recent pimax 8k(wasn’t able say more might have been the m2). He also pmed me asking about the 5k+ during tge meet.
Ben also reported on the explanation on why the v5 was ill received from pimax’s statement.
Now folks relax. No Articles are not bad ones. When they are ready articles will be posted.

If Pimax can produce a shit ton of these really quick HTC is in big trouble. Either that or CV2 gets announced early

As someone already mentioned: Good news about Pimax is bad news for every other VR company and competitor. Thats including all media who is paid for their services. Im not surprised nobody is reporting about Pimax.
I said it before and I will say it one more time, the big VR news websites do not want this to happen. They never did. And they never will.
Oh and how about all the “big” VR youtubers? Nothing there as well. Maaaaaybe that free HTC Vive Pro had its price lol.

Why? It wasn’t a slam on whether Ben has given fair coverage. If anything it was a slam on all the complaining in the forum about CES for so long. That RTVR found us so interesting when everyone in here was fighting and now with everyone happy about the Pimax we are boring was the joke. ie: we need to start fighting again to get press coverage. Goes to the topic.
No where have I complained (EVER ) about RTVR’s coverage. The lack of at least a mention given the backer response and the new 5+ does seem uncharacteristic, given how much attention Pimax has received.
Nothing in the NDA would keep Ben or anyone at RTVR from "mentioning the meetup or the news of an improved 5K or a lot of other things in the 70 videos done at the event.

come on man. people have thrown similar accusations of being compromised at you over pimax. i don’t think that accusation is fairly levelled at them any more than you. And i’m frustrated over lack of coverage.

according to vr focus they were not informed of it, and suspected others had not been otherwise it would have been reported on well before now.

Umm Jeeez you talk some nonsence. Maybe their waiting for some official statments from Pimax ? RTVR only tends to report on solid information

Ben has. He pmed me during tge event inquiring about the 5k+. So I would say he’s waiting on some official details from pimax.

Thing is I don’t think we will ever know what deals and back handers are issued behind closed doors. At the end of the day none of it matters I’m sure we will all be pleased with the hmd we recieve😃

We do want Pimax to succeed beyond the backer units though 
and that takes marketing, reviews, news etc. e.g. I didn’t know hardly anything about the 4K until the 8K popped up in news way back.
