Iām preorder 13xx and today I received the same email simply stating that preorder delivery will begin on 25th, didnāt specify that mine would ship on that date so not even going to bother crossing my fingers yet.

Like I said the email was very generic so there is good chance you will be sent with first batch of preorders anyway. One thing I observed here is a lot of backers received their headsets before their tracking number arrived. Itās all a bit queer but I expect weāll all be very relieved when we get that brown box.
They ran out of screens for the 8K and couldnāt get a delivery faster. Not great planning, but sure as hell more likely to be true than all the speculations here

Yeah i was dissapointed also like others to be honest right after the news, but i donāt bother anymore why and how and it has no use to speculate. Now iām in a more optimistic mood knowing they are doing there best with the 8k now that is all that matters at the moment and donāt worry about a few weeks more. It has advantages to be in the later batch also.

I agree 100% there. Iām not in a rush. But the spreadsheet does however say that my 8K is built, so I canāt stop hoping for a quick QA and some luck 
Edit: Software updates like pitools and Brainwarp 
will greatly improve our experience too. Iām confident itāll get better and better with time and feedback

Built does not mean its built. It means it still has to be built and status is exactly at 0%.
