Is there a non-fresnel lense mod for the index btw ? 
That would be awesome if you could replace them …And why are all vr lenses made out of plastic instead of real glas

David Attenborough 3D nature videos are great, I have several of his Blu-ray collections. But I only seen them on 3D-projector, not sure if there is any easy way to watch Blu-ray, and 3D at that, in VR (without ripping it).

Might check it when I have 8kX (on 5k+ it is worse than projector). I noticed the update but they say “video files” so I doubt Bluray. Bluray is difficult because of copy-protection and PC applications are rare.
Currently I have PowerDvD but I don’t like it and I could not even make it work with 3D projector despite officialy supported - and their customer support was absolutely horrible and useless. I think newer versions of PowerDvD actually support VR but with my previous experience with their 3D I’m not sending more money to them anytime soon.

They does claim the app supports VR. I don’t know it works well or doesn’t.
actualy i use DVDFab passkey for play original bluray and This for 3D bluray in bigscreen.

just FYI, VRBANGERS just released their first Video in 8k.
sadly they screwed up the camera positioning(to close to the D*** so immersion is impossible) but the resolution is nice i guess, cant realy tell the difference to their 6k content with my 5k+ tbh.

Not sure what im doing wrong, I figured id give it a shot with an 8k video even though this isnt what I got vr for but the video studders immensely for 10 seconds then freezes every time. ive tried both Deo VR and whirligig and the same thing happens on both.
You need the Hevc codec from window store otherwise it’s trying to run it in software on your CPU. Also, untoggle directshow in the options.
