@deletedpimaxrep1 Can you confirm that the NY meetup is the NYVR convention? Aside from signing up through the earlier request, is there anything we need to do to get a spot? Will there be an evening meetup similar to last year? How will Pimax reach out to us to let us know we are confirmed for the meetup?

This would work for sure I bet. I would offer to be a host but unfortunately that won’t be possible. But if a Seattle or Eastside backer wants to step up that can host backer visits with 1080ti or 2080 equipped machine and a Vive (for the lighthouses and wands. Though I can loan mine if needed certainly.) it is a great opportunity to get an early look at what is coming and enjoy it until theirs arrives. Sending one 8K and one 5K+ would be the ideal I feel.

I am going to try and come down for this, but in case I don’t can someone please ask Robin Weng about the base stations? I know we had a long discussion about this, but I still think there are a good number of us who think it’s crazy for us not to be able to purchase them with our credit.

Probably Central Park where it’s safe. 
At Immersed last year in Toronto they arranged having outside meet for backers. But either way I’m sure if it’s a public event they’d likely have a ViP thing setup for backers of sorts for those whom can attend.
If it’s a public event it could be harder for backers to get a turn.

I won’t be able to go to NY in the end… still no details on location and hours and stuff I needed to plan (like a hotel)… would be a 16 hour round trip drive over two days, can’t commit the time and keep the days clear without having a lot more info.
@deletedpimaxrep1 it’s great Pimax is doing stuff like this, but you can’t just have it all as ‘more info later’ until the last minute!
