Only backers upgrading via plan have to pay taxes !! I mean how cool is that huh?

I think the shop is just bugged as hell, they rushed everything to bring it online during the stream and now have to rework it again.
I think the main issue is (again) the lack of communication, it is quite fatal that they went silent for almost two days now. That is not professional at all.

I think that a good solution now is to close the store for a day or two in order to polish its working capacity and eliminate all errors.

French member here: had to pay taxes when i used the upgrade plan, my friend located in France as well, new Pimax customer, wasnāt charged with taxes !

I guess the best thing right now would be to take the shop offline, clarify all the questions on the forum, implement the right answers in the shop, and then put it back online.

Not true. Iām not a backer and had to pay 300 usd in taxes and 120 usd for shipping to Portugal. Nuts. Iām asking for a refund.

Time to turn to my Credit Card company for charging back the stolen 100usd for 8k-5k switch.

If i cant use it on anything i want itās just stealing, because i paid too much for the 5K+.
Now itās very clear why i never got the credit/voucher/coupon or whatever they like to call it.
Itās āpay even more or lose your moneyā, nothing more than a scam at this point. They earned an extra 100usd for basically doing nothing and keeping it if i dont upgrade.

Weird because when I choose order via pimax store to Portugal it shown no tax

The tax comes in the last step. At least it did for me last time, but not this timeā¦ 
This was on the normal purchase (i.e. not the āupgradeā option).

What a bargainā¦! I get 25.25 $ off for being a beta tester / early adopter (pre-ordered the 5K+) and if they f*ck it up, I still get to pay taxes on top of that at arrivalā¦!
