Yeah, Iām thinking as a mid November preorder Iām likely to get my 8KX in June, and the Mas some time in July.

Agreed, the dates of April and May respectively are optimistic and best case as mentioned. June and July seems perfectly possible. Hopefully not later than that, but weāll seeā¦

As in, my opinion in my first post considered the best case of April / May for 8KX / MAS, based on the statement. But I wonāt be surprised at all if both are delayed by a month each for most people

The timeframe we get is always the most optimistic, best case + luck and not a single bump in the road, wind in the back and downhill all the way. We have learned this over the last few yearsā¦ we remain hopeful, but slightly less naive and gullible.
I, as everyone else, hope for a fresh 8KX in April. But I realise that itās very very improbable to get it even in May.

With the 8k-X their goal is a small batch in March, mass production and delivery in April.
The situation is difficult though and weāll see whats going to happen.

By now China looks to be stabilisingā¦ too bad the western countries didnāt learn from how it was handled. Now itās our turn to shutdown. (Italy is already closed, France and Spain should follow any day now. Hopefully the rest as well, before it gets as bad)
Pretty soon weāll see parcels shipping from China, but noone being able to recieve them. Pretty ironic.

Actually China has not stabilize it, they just stopped worrying and reporting about it. Is just as bad as a month ago.

What do you mean? The canadian custom is holding your package for over a month by now due to the corona virus even if they all told us that virus dont live on object and travellers are getting back in our country without any questions by the customs ?

Canāt say why they are holding a piece of plastic since Feb1. Will say that when I asked a CBSA agent about it, all his response was when i indicated it was from China was āI donāt have specific information but i canāt say Iām surprisedā.
Update:
I will add that the parcel was released today and is expected to arrive today.
