Given the seriousness of the coronavirus, I donât think I can blame anyone for lateness on updates or delivery or anything. Afterall the team needs to be alive to finish making the hmd. If Iâm in their shoes I wouldnât devote my life to make a vr headset for anyone at the cost of my own. I would preserve my life first and when itâs safe, I then may consider going back to work.
I have 2 friends one in wuhan one in shanghai, depends on where they are they are telling me very different stories of whatâs going on there.
At this point I donât feel my vr need take much priority.
Really hope this virus get under control quick.

For me its not the delays,and i hope everbody is okay over there and hope there comes a vaccin for the virus.
But a official feedback could already be given to us allâŚ

Yeah I was just curious if it was posted yet. Perhaps theyâre focusing on the PiTool software since no hardware is currently being produced.

I have my sources that outside Hubei companies are not announcing delays
Itâs better to wait for the update.

The coronavirus affects the businesses and every day living in way larger area than just Hubei.
There is an update coming up about this matter and much more.
Funny thing, if it hadnât been told (in every day this week) that we ought to get an update âsoon/tonight/tomorrowâ weâd be less anxious about it.

Even the update about the delay has to be delayed.
Please donât say an update is coming âtodayâ or âtonightâ if it is not. How can we believe any dates you give us if you canât even get the day you will release updates right.
We understand that there is coronavirus so there is delays and can wait. Just donât give us false hope.

This is an issue. Although yes, I can accept the dangers evolving in China. At least some sort of assessment of the situation would be helpful. If I know that delay is substantial, then I will ask for refund of the 8kX, and the re-purchase once they become properly operational. I simply donât have interest on having frozen funds without a good sign of the situation

What does that even mean?
They were going to do an update about the delays but theyâve delayed the delays update due to an unforeseen delay, this delay will be added to the delays report and updated once the delay has been reported to the person who is doing the delays report on the delays so he can update the delays report and the delays can be reported in the update on delays. Please be aware an update is coming. But its been delayed.

What I cannot wrap around my head is that they say âwe will post an update todayâ and then insult people by not doing that.
That might be acceptable in Chinese culture, but itâs absolutely unsustainable and downright insulting to Americans/Europeans.
We Germans even have a saying for that: âJemanden fĂźr dumm verkaufen.â -> similar like âto make a fool of somebodyâ.
