How can the new headsets be called "Vision" headsets without new optics?

No, he doesn’t talk about new unannounced developments. Literally all he says is that there is stuff he wishes he could tell us but can’t. That could mean tons of different things.

That comment implies that they are in development and being modified, not the same as before.

We’re still getting the same lenses, hence the basis of reasoning for why we were mislead - as we were lead to believe that other lenses are in devopment and Swevivers reply was in response to a question asking about the 8KX.

If you’re so upset about this why don’t you take it to court? I assure you, nothing will come of it, because your arguments are ridiculous.

You know, if this vision model lineup gets released and none of the confirmed features are included I may very well do just that. - After all I’m a lawyer and know more about courts and judges than you do, and I can represent myself and avoid all legal fees.

I would wager that new lenses are being worked on (since Pimax is constantly working on new improvements). I would also wager there’s a stockpile of the old lenses which will be used up before any mention of the new lenses.

I would also take the advice of internet armchair lawyers very lightly.

The comment implies no such thing. He could be saying that he wishes to explain the reasoning behind no new lenses but he can’t. He could be saying that he wishes to deconfirm that new lenses will ever come, but he can’t. He could be saying that new lenses are being developed for the 8k X as an optional replacement later, but he can’t.

Would you like me to send you my resume as well? :joy:

It could mean a lot of things - it doesn’t change the fact the comment is misleading because it gave me a false impression about the product specifications

Misleading by what standards? There’s no chance a court would side with you.

What kind of law do you practice if you don’t mind me asking.

Civil and criminal law jurisdictions, but mainly practicing in civil.

If you’re really practicing law, you should know better. There’s absolutely no way a court would agree with you, and I don’t need to practice law to realize that.

Pretty sure I do know better than you. I don’t need legal advice on what would convince the courts coming from someone who has no legal experience at all.

When you’ve had over a year of personal experience arguing your cases in front of judges then I might give your uninformed opinion some weight.

If this entire topic rests on the premise that @SweViver has mislead the public with a vague mention of lens news, then I suggest this topic be closed as it’s now turned in to bickering and is no longer productive.

This has to be a joke surely
