The problem with Chronos/TheClimb is because they have dunovo DRM which detects Revive tampering with the dlls and other hook methods.
Edge of nowhere, Luckys tale and Lone echo don´t have the DRM.

Rendering quality - yeah, left it at default.
Going to try the climb now. I’m some way into that already having used that with Steam and Revive on the Vive in the past.
I played both Chronos and The Climb on Vive using Revive without any problem.
Yep, me too (only Chronos though)
But on the Pimax, it´s different. all i get is “Entitlement failed”
I open SteamVR, Chose the Revive option, Start the game. I get the DRM issue. I am using .103 beta version. It didn’t work with .91 either. Don’t forget. I am only using the HMD, no base station.
Just tried the climb, starts fine no issues. (without steam/revive) pitool .91 - my games - the climb
However in the main menu, seems to be some controller mapping issue? It can see the wands (shown as touch controllers) but it still wanted me to use Xbox controller to continue? Xbox controller was not even connected.
Wen to practice climb but as wands not working would not let me grab anything.
Also graphics are really blurry can barely read the different settings in ‘options’
Not got time to tinker further right now, hopefully later.
Lets make some things clear to avoid confusion:
1 - The Pimax DON´T use REVIVE. It uses a internal made “emulator” (completely based on Revive code, i infer) that is located inside Pitool instalation folder.
2 - Pitool DON´T need STEAMVR to work with Oculus games. As it has it´s own files for this, it is completely separated from Steam or SteamVR.
The problem with starting from Pitool is that I miss some options in OpenVR Advanced Settings especially for Revive of which the most useful is to be able to toggle the grip button and not have to constantly press it to hold a gun in From Other Suns for example.
Fixed the graphics issue, upped the resolution scale to 2.00 in the options and all fine now. Lovely graphics, not amazing but stunning scenery anyway.
I was clearly being an idiot with the wands - it was the triggers to grab not grip buttons. Select in menus is down on trackpad, and back is left on trackpad. Grip seems to be oculus trigger but does not seem to do anything.
Anyway game now working perfectly for me
So what am I doing wrong ?
Using steam/revive? Also it seems pitool above .91 breaks it. Not sure what version you’re using?
With pitool .91 try the steps I posted here:
Change audio to use Pimax ? Why ?
Because the Pitool don´t auto switch to USB audio of the Pimax like SteamVR.
I never had to do that for any other games. That’s a strange step to me.
Do you have any other sound sources ?
Yeah 100% that, hopefully Pimax will add the audio switching functionality? Unless it is in a higher version already?
As I only got the Pimax yesterday .91 is the only version I’ve tried.
Also it’s a pain that pitool stops windows shutting down cleanly and you have to ‘shut down anyway’
Nope, it still don´t auto switch.
And yes, Pimax should make Pitool shutdown friendly ! (don´t stop Windows from shutting down)
Invoking @Heliosurge help so he can remind the correct people and add these suggestions to the Pitool TO-DO list !
You do have basestations don’t you?
Lone echo is a 6dof game
