Because we need to find something to direct compare. Now ED for me is a no go.
We’re all beginners this is new.
Any hacks for a vr frame ffs?
Allocen could you try those when you get a minute?
I know its a log shot but have you checked the NVIDIA control panel setting, like Virtual reality per-rendered frames ?
Do you have fpsvr? Good to grab
Yes i do and its pretty much 90fps constant
its 1 by default, needs smth else?
If was me i would try to make a template with cardboard then find a shop that can print it in 3d,
then to the optician .
i have the 40mm lenses already… i need to fit in…
Think Sweviver has his set to 3
This would affect smoothness more than actual picture quality i think.
Also 3 makes it more demanding on the card so it would push processor even harder.
Also Swiviver as more powerful pc.
How much usage on cpu/gpu when playing ?
Sure that GPU is not reaching 90 per cent or even 75
depends on the game idk gpu seems pretty high 90-95%
Not sure if you even have a Vive, but the narrow face pad is thicker than the Pimax and fits well. It lets me use my glasses without touching the lenses.
Even though my I5-6500 (3.2ghz) didn’t seem to be holding my gpu back. It was. Judging by tge results @Jean-Mehdi posted the i7 is holding you back.
I had terrible aliasing & a variety of oddies happening.
A game to try is InMindVR it should run decently.
What does steam reccommwnd when you switch video from Auto to manual?
arghhh…again more upgrades…wasnt rtx enough, my wallet is crying tho already…

What did you had before ?
please don’t say a 1080ti cause in that case would have been better upgrading pc and keeping card.
