Droolon Pi1 Firmware Update

To update the EyeTracking Module firmware, you need to download the RAR file via this google drive link - Eye Tracking Firmware.

After the download, please follow the simple steps as below to update to the latest firmware.

Steps :

  1. Connect the Droolon to the computer (you can see a camera called Mobile VR on the device Manager)

  2. Open the UpdateFrimware. Exe

  1. In the network state, enter the download code： UI5Z6CZB

Be careful not to disconnect the device from the computer

  1. The following figure indicates that the update was successful.

  1. Disconnect the Droolon Pi1 from the computer and reconnect

  2. Connect the Droolon to the computer (you can see a camera called Droolon Pi1 on the device Manager)

the rar itself is password protected also. what is the password.

Hi @PimaxQuorra apart from the device not found. how exactly is this thing supposed to mount on the 8KX, there is physically no room for the USB connector since the top USB on the 8KX port has been closed of.

edit: the mounting issue is solved.

i can answer that one. the port on the side, you use the little cable that came with it to wrap aroubd under it to connect to lower usb.

no that is not the problem. the front usb plug on the module has no where to go because the top usb port has been closed off. that means the module physically can not fit on the headset because the module can not sit flush with the headset which again means the comfort kit won’t fit back on right.

Is it set to “Mobile VR”?
There was a case where it was set to “USB Video Device” depending on the USB port.

I’m speechless. How to recommend Pimax to anyone. You think it can’t get worse and then this.
I will definetly go with the HP Reverb G2 and sell my Pimax-Headsets
