As I can’t upgrade anyway because the payment provider used by Pimax won’t accept my ccs, I’ll probably stick with my original plan to get it via amazon once available.

Why would they change how they do it now when they come out with 8k-x? now they ship to England then from England to customers in EU.
So no customs fees for the EU. Which is perfect!

To be clear, the 8K+ image is in the upper-right. I verified that by zooming in; the pixel dot-pitch exactly matches the 8KX image.
The 8K+ looks much better than my 8K, but I still think I’ll pay a bit more and get the 8KX.

And the 8K+ is theoretically still on track for a December release.
Impossible to tell with Pimax if no news = good news…
There’s no way the X is on track for Dec, sweviver still hasn’t received his test unit and the 8K+ is getting shipped first which hasn’t even started, and backers haven’t even been given return labels for their loaners, so no idea how you get that theory.
edit: Sorry for spoiling your joke if that’s what it was but people come here for info and there’s no sense adding confusion.
