I was 100% behind Pimax but now their reputation is tarnished forever.
You have to Kickstart more - then you would know we are on track rather good - sure there is much potential left to “aquire”, but…
we have the HMD, the Basestations are coming, controllers not quite what was planned but near (Index Controllers), fingertracking seems on the way, eyetracking better than thought but more expensive,…
I think thats a good ROI for investing in a company developing future VR.

Sorry that you feel like that and I can understand it.
But all those platforms are really “investing” - not buying products - there is always a “gambling” like effect - could lose it all, come out good or hit the big win - we did not lose it all so hey, its not bad .

You just need to have appropriate expectations. I’ve backed 3 Kickstarters and all have turned out rather well. My 8K is a good headset (better than I expected, actually) and while there’s the issue of bonuses and delays, that’s less important to me than a VR headset I can truly enjoy.
I understand that not everyone feels that way, with good reason(s).
