HI,

So CES2023 is over.

All that exposure and promoting to what end? Portal backing went into reverse. I honestly thought we’d see a big jump with the press and demos and thousands of people trying it out.

So the question is what went wrong? I’m not here to beat on Pimax - it’s a genuin question. There’s literally 4 days left. Is Portal still viable? Is there anything Pimax can do? Should Pimax stop throwing more money at the project?

No doubt Pimax have spent a lot of money and resources getting this far. We were told their booth was as big as Microsofts even though it was a third the size. 60% of the floor space was given to Portal. There was no expense spared. No excuses this year. As far as I can see it all went smooth.

They’ve at least got the Chinese market, and that’s more than 1 billion people.
So maybe they’re not all that worried.

From a backer’s perspective it just feels like the team doesn’t seem to want to show off anything in detail to anyone except people that made appointments or could see in person.
Which sucks when I am someone that just found out about Pimax and I want one for myself and for my kid/family living room console.

I feel like CES was supposed to be a big event with perhaps some interaction with the Kickstarter. They haven’t updated since 12/26/22 which frankly was no help in the first place just like most of their updates on the page.
