Yes I understand that but if HTC have not started releasing them to users because of problems how are Pimax supposed to deliver stuff they do not have and cannot get?
Thanks Nick but we need to hear that from @PimaxVR @anon74848233
Definitely, I would be perfectly happy to have V1 now instead of V2 in 6 months or more. Much rather have a fully functioning HMD than a paper-weight. I will be mostly seated or in a play area smaller than the V1 limit anyway, and also means less V2 that need to be shipped later.
I would as well. I only ordered 1 lighthouse, assuming I could buy another one, if I needed too. It looks like if I want to buy one in the future, I’ll probably need to buy 2, along with a pair of controllers. A V1 lighthouse would be acceptable for my current needs.
They are showing their eye tracking at ces
I would also give my $100 credit of the 5k+ exchange to get a 2nd base station added to avoid that situation (it was 75+shipping anyway), it was a bonus credit really so nothing lost.
Why don´t you guys buy a htv vive for 499 Dollar, keep the lighthouse boxes and the controllers and sell the headset on ebay?
In Germany we say: “Every morning a stupid person wakes up!” --> to buy silly stuff on ebay (like da vive headset without equipment)
With shipping and duty I could never get one for that. I don’t have the money to waste, I’ll keep using the Rift for the moment.
Forgive my ignorance.
What is the exact model compatible with PiMax? It is not this one?

That it is, what I´m using! Two normal lighthouse boxes from htc & the htc controllers.
Then sell the Rift
Use the Vive until the arrival of the Pimax.
Sell the Vive headset if you are satisfied with the Pimax and sell the controllers and speakers whichever one you like better.
I think this will be more lucrative in the end than selling the Rift after the Pimax boxes and controllers come out.
