I switched left to right but it’s too low now. I hope they send me out the right hinges soon, or I may try and buy some 3d printed ones.

Please do. My aftermarket hinges do much more than any of the hinges Pimax is currently offering. 
Are you sharing your STL ?
I think I remember you have a design not requiring any printing supports ?

There are a few ppl that have made new hinges.
@BNP and @MikeJeffries were working on some when this issue was first identified in the wild.
Yes, I am, and my design indeed does not require supports. I plan on making an announcement once it is listed publicly for sale, which will be any day now.

Ludiks, Thanks for posting this strap in the discord too. I decided to buy one for my Quest 2 actually. I returned the Elite headstrap because it felt so cheap for $50… This one looks way better and its cheaper.

Folks, please don’t miss out on my hinges which allow the MAS to lower to any desired angle. You can print them yourself, or order them from us.
@Ludiks Tiegue’s design works fine. My version makes them easier to 3D print, adds a metal reinforcing screw, and is available at a variety of angles for those who do want to use the end stop limiters. I am using a 161deg pair of these hinges myself right now.
