Wireless module - where is it?

Seriously. I’ve heard no news about this one in ages.
My 5K+ is gathering dust now. Well actually it is in a drawer. :wink:

Even with the tiny FOV the Oculus Quest 2 combined with virtual desktop is the perfect VR experience for me right now. I miss the Pimax FOV but playing wireless adds so much to immersion!

Is the wireless module canceled? If not will there be one for the 8KX as well? From a technical standpoint it should be doable considering you can do 25xx x 25xx per eye SteamVR res with virtual over a simple WIFI 5. Yes it gets compressed but the image is great nontheless! A dedicated module should be able to do more.

Last report from @PimaxUSA was that wireless would be focused on next year after the chipset that they are targeting for use is released. This chipset will apparently be able to do wireless for the 8kx.
