I forced mine by downloading the ISO, unplugging the network cable, and then running the installer.

Nope, even with the Windows Update Assistant the update was not available for me, I had to force it with ISO and network unplug.

After using HAGS for a week or so, Iā€™ve decided to turn it off. It didnā€™t seem to provide any benefit (even with the latest nVidia drivers) and it seems like my framerate has dropped (just a little bit).

Iā€™m still figuring mine out. Fenris has said that if you change the Catalyst slider, you need to stop the VR application, stop SteamVR, kill the VR compositor process, then change and apply the Catalyst setting and restart everything. I have been adjusting the setting just with slide-click-apply and apparently that doesnā€™t properly change it.

Hello! Iā€™m new to Pimax and I use it to 99% for iRacing.

Iā€™ve had a very good customer experience when it comes to ordering, receiving and out of the box experience, but getting good FPS out of my Vision 8k+ at Pi tools renderer 1 and Steam VR SS 100% have been a challenge.

The GPU catalyst boosted me to 90 FPS but the stuttering was unbearable. Today I saw this thread and I installed Windows 10 2004 to get HAGS. I turned it on and like magic, the stuttering from Catalyst is almost entirely gone, at least something I can live with. And with a few more in game adjustments Iā€™m now at a quite stable 110 FPS!!! AMAZING! VERY HAPPY!

Iā€™m running:
-i5 9600KF @ 5GHz (OC)
-Corsair 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200Mhz CL16 Vengeance
-MSI GeForce RTX 2070 8GB ARMOR

Iā€™ve tried to OC my GPU but canā€™t make it stable in iRacing with VR.

You are the second iā€™ve seen say that HAGS on improved things. most were saying to turn it off.
