Window XP , Windows 7 with Pimax?

I will be building machines soon that will be running both OSes. Does anyone knows if Steam VR Pitools will run on those older Windows operating systems?

Windows XP not likely. Windows 7 folks have had mixed experiences.

Might be able to do a static test maybe with compatibility mode.

Windows 10 you can get pretty cheap.

If you have Win7, you can still upgrade to Win10 for FREE (as of June 8th).

Right, I think with 7 SteamVR should run and probably Pitools. XP I am very curious about

I can confirm that pitool runs on windows 7. I have to hook my headset up to an old machine running windows 7 in order to update firmware on my 5k+. It won’t update on my gaming rig running windows 10.
