Will the different Tiers of the Kickstarter determine how much functionality the Pimax 8K has?

@deletedpimaxrep1

After the Pimax BE/4K issue. I don’t think it’s wise to make 2 editions of the Pimax 8K without EXPLICITLY stating which ones the consumer is going to get. Also it’s just confusing as hell.

If the tech catches up and UHD OLED Displays start coming out then by all means make a new product line called the Pimax 8K OLED Edition.

I think for the most part the Pimax 8K should be 1 product like the Rift or the Vive.

Since there is somewhat a demand for a version without controllers. The lower tiers backers of the Kickstarter can opt for a version without the controllers and buy the controllers seperately when ever they feel like they need it.

Overall though I think everything in the Pimax 8K should come as standard with exception to the controller

For example making a $500USD version and a $700-800USD version with different lenses/screens/ports/functionality would just cause major confusion and mixed reviews all over the internet.

Ah but see there would be only 1 8k. The other if used dual qhd oled would have a different branding.

This was a learning curve. With proper mfg controls & procedures in place the liklihood of this happening again is minimal.

Ie they make the decision again to package BE in 4k package. Special labels get affixed identifying BE product. In top of this the skids with special needs has a quality hold tags affixed to 4 sides of skids, identifying whom this batch ships to with contact of controller of special batch (ie senior sales member)
