Also incredible detail: All of the objects you see can interact,I didn’t even pick up the gun and didn’t encounter any enemies after playing for half an hour,because I spend lots of time in the smooth interact and watching scene details.
Next time ,I think I will try to enter a deeper game scene although I am bad at shooting games.
As my primary use of VR is for flight simulators, the important thins were having the cockpit all around me (“being there”), having much better feel for the motion and aircraft attitude (1:1 head movements unlike ir head tracking).
Among first things I saw through VR was Oculus ocean dive demo which was quite good choice as the CV1 reminds a lot the diving goggles with it’s FOV and imperfect clarity is not an issue for underwater scenes.
My first thought was “game changer” when I got my first VR hmd (CV1). Haven’t played in flatland since.

It may scare you a bit. But it is so much fun worth a couple rounds so you can get a feel for it. Was my favorite game for a while after I first tried it. No more creepy then Alyx. But not sure how far you made it in.
