Capture the moving screen of your favorite VR game with a voiceover explaining why you like it (10-20s would be good enough!) then share with us: business@pimaxvr.com
we will share your choices with players worldwide in the next video, then pick 10 backers to send out surprising gifts during kickstarter.
Most importantly, VR content creators and hardware brands (like us) will get a better idea about what types of VR experience make people happy.
fyi, pimax 8k will be available on kickstarter very soon. sign up here http://eepurl.com/cCSair so that you won’t miss the best deal.
After you guys have sold half finished 4k units (still no 4k native resolution support) and never cared to make them work like they should, I’m only going to be interested in the 8K if it’s really finished. I’m not going to trust you guys again to finish it after I’ve bought it, that’s for sure, you guys disappointed me big time with the 4k support.
the 1st prototype of 8k has been tested with at least 5,000 people in VR events e.g. CES in las vegas, GDC in san francisco. we are collecting feedbacks from medias and gamers and continuing upgrade 8k model, and we will keep on doing so in the following months. recently, we have 2nd prototype ready to test in SVVR in San Jose on 3.29th.
there will be at least two types of rewards in pimax8k kickstarter page. we will offer both 8k developer version and consumer version. developer version will ship as soon as kickstarter ended, and it will be the newest prototype until then. After the pimax 8k sucessfully funded, we will use money raised to improve consumer version, which will ship only when we have tested with another 1000 users and VR medias and they say its ready to sell in the marketplace. so developer version or consumer version, a trade off of perfection and waiting time, people can make their own choice.
meanwhile, we are looking for new talent that interested in VR to join us to enhance the communication speed and quality between pimax and users.
hellosurge, pimax organization structure is a matrix style: support functions, and project teams. the product manager of pimax4k and his team mainly responsible for the experiences with pimax4k. and we have a project team that responsible for pimax 8k.
as hardware cannot stand alone, we are working with current content, accessory, GPU, and VR tech partners, (mainly based on the west coast of U.S.) to improve VR experiences as a whole.
Well understand your 4k team is failing & will result in your company losing integrity as a vr manufacturer.
Every Piplay after 1.1.92 has lost visual quality due to your 2k setting not being 2k resolution. The resolutions being switched are not even 16:9. Not having changelogs for betas is not a good practice.
Your 4k support team often appears to ignore clients questions.
As for your 8k team; LukeB asked your team a direct question about manual focus.
Bottom Line. Your company’s reputation is at stake. While I am generally happy with the hardware; the software is a mess.
You only have to search youtube & google to see your starting to get negative reviews due to your distributor (Gearbest); & not addressing hardware defects.
All it will take is folks not happy to post their experiences the comments on youtube (ie the link you provided).
Please communicate with your 4k team & work on repairing your company’s reputation before its too late.
