What happened with the feedback?

G’day all,
This mostly goes out to the YouTube reviewers @sweviver @mixedrealityTV @VoodooDE

While I appreciate there is, of course, personal preference involved we can all agree that the general consensus is that the 5k+ is a better and more complete/finished feeling product.

It seems to me that this forum is currently full of the kind of discussion that should be taking place between the M2 and M3 units, not after the M2 unit has been deemed complete.

When you, the testers, told Pimax about the issues being discussed on the forums, now that the NDA has lifted, issues like the pixel layout and the sort. Basically that the 5k+ unit was better than the 8k - What did Pimax say in response?

Truth for me until this kickstarter didn’t know how complicated displays actually are. Sure 3 or 4 lcd types & generally speaking 2 main sub pixel layouts.

Now you can’t rely on basics ie lcd rgb, oled pentile or rgbw.

Going to be harder to buy a simple monitir in future it seems.

Agreed. I definitively have a better understanding of screen/types in general

It just seems like a lot of info on the forums coming out that, presumably, came out during testing and, again presumably, was either ignored or responded to in some way
