Yes, smart smoothing ON in Pimax Client or PiTool and OFF in SteamVR.
I have dropped down to 90 hz and is also working well. Only track that does chug and stutter more is Nords.
Only thing I wonder is if the long term life of the LCD panels is shortened by running always at 120hz ? Considering they were never intended to be run at such a high refresh rate.
Just have to add that after running a day at 90hz I went back to 120hz and I cannot understand it but 120hz is actually smoother and maintains a higher framerate.
There must be some technical explanation for this but I have no idea as I assumed maintaining a lower refresh rate would be easier on the system… go figure !?
My conclusion has to be to stick with 120hz and the Pimax Client 1.10. This testing has been with RRRE but I am about to get back into AMS2 which is more taxing in vr.
