Well, apart from comfort; I mean this thing looks exactly as comfortable as a stock Pimax!
looks like a Google Daydream
Maybe more so. It dont have the strap cramming the thing into your face.
I think we have time traveller here! This model comes from the future, if you look closely you will notice it offers full native resolution for both eyes, perfect clarity. Not sure why head-strap is missing, perhaps it has some kind of anti-gravity field integrated to hold it in perfect position.
The IPD could do with adjustment
Most likely the Oculus version. Intended to bring down the cost. Note the small field of view and the expense applied to the screen and lenses. Does appear they may have eliminated the problem with God rays and glare. Tracking still requires use in a lit room. May be the questโs production demo.
Not to mention the efficiency!
Look it has a build-in controller! (for one hand)
looks like a LABO actually
And higher than 4K. .
My dad had something similar as a child.
They also had some neat hand controlled projectors with e.g. a Mickey Mouse movie. Was fascinated from that from the start
Found a nice present for a round birthday of a like-minded nostalgist
That apparatus looks a bit like the Marble Machine (wintergatan)
Heja Sverige.
Just waiting @Heliosurge come and tell how he had a kaleidoscope when he was a kid
No but did have a viewmaster. Lol
Oh yeah, the viewmaster. Great times. I also remember the Anaglyph books with the red and green glasses lol.
Ha ha Iโd forgotten about Viewmaster. Might still have one in a cupboard somewhere, along with a few remaining Buck Rogers slides!
Oh yeah, Kooten en de Bie. Mooie tijden
Had some slides of the Flintstones for the Viewmaster!
haha ja idd ze zijn nooit meer overtroffen vind ik
Zeker niet. Ik kijk nog wel eens voor de nostalgie en ze blijven gewoon actueel!
