I’m still using the old FSR/NIS mod, is this any better?
It is not better. It is the same code.
Fholger decided to create one tool for everything, and that is vrperfkit. It is combined together Openvr_FSR/NIS scaling with sharpening, and his Openvr_foveated rendering.
The difference is that with vrperfkit you do not need to replace original openvr.dll from game, and install is a bit “easier”.
I still sometimes use old tool, FSR scaling. i.E. for IL-2, as vrpefkit for some reason is considered as mod in multiplayer, and fsr is not.
Its compatibility is much better due to not having to override the openvr dll.
For example.
Project Cars 1 and 2 crashed with the old one
but works fine with perfkit.
I have stopped using the old one altogether.
Ok, this work Elite Dangerous and it seems to make the whole game faster, and so is the little loss of graphics…and ### Step 6 - Configure the mod to your heart’s content…what there need conf?
I saw that reshade 5.0 is out. So will it be in this performane kit? And now reshade 5.0 has some setings in steam vr 5.0 - ReShade Forum
