My brother has a big screen TV on the wall of his computer room to display to onlookers the VR view. I was there playing gorn and I registered the grid pop up too late and shattered his 65" TV. Expensive gaming session after reimbursing him $700.

Ouch! I use a 150" wall projection. Can do much damage there.

Most people would make sure their tvâs a well out of the way especially for a game like Gorn.
When I have people over to play VR i find it astounding how difficult people find it to remember that despite how real eveything looks in VR that they have walls around.
for that cost i bet you would rather have just bought him a quest so he could have these demonstration in an open field somewhere.
It wasnât funny at the time but itâs pretty funny now.
He put the new TV up in the same place but now has a protective screen on it with a gap in between.
