So VR Days is starting at 10am local time tomorrow (in about 11 hours from posting this) and presumably guys like us will be there getting to try out the 8KX from that moment onwards and asking pointed questions. So if I’ve presumed correctly I presume again that we will be hearing from some of these guys here or elswhere!

Would like to hear from testers if colors and blacks are any improvement over the Index/Rift S. I’ve seen two ED reviews claiming the Reverb has much better blacks and colors compared to the Rift S. Wondering if the new RGB panels have some improvement

Please, please, please corner them and ask them to try wireless or 2m cable extension with the X in upscaled mode since native res isn’t possible.
@mixedrealityTV mentioned something about the colors of 8K+. He said they are muted in comparison with HP Reverb.
And then Tyriel Wood said the colors were great… Who the hell are we supposed to believe?

I want someone to read very tiny text on the 8KX.
I hope someone at VR days could kindly check if 8K+/8K-X have a ‘VirtualLink’ connector. Now it’s known 8K-X only has one DP cable, VirtualLink should be possible on the new Pimax headsets to pair up with RTX and next gen GPU’s.

I’ll be there tomorrow I’ll try the most extreme things I can think of to really push the device. VRdays opens at 9:00 btw. It probably won’t be until the evening that I will post anything though, maybe even the day after 
Last year we had a late night with some people haha.

Why? Did they claimed to reduce distortion via software in 8kx?
I do not, no. Not unless I painfully strain my eyeballs to look at the very edges. (I have a 5K+)

I asked Sweviver to reserve me a slot around 12.00, can you please check if that happened or reserve a time slot for me around 12.00 yourself? I don’t arrive before 11.00 tomorrow and because of an appointment I have to leave around 15.00. Would be so unhappy if I couldn’t try the 8kx.

See if you can get in DCS Su27 cockpit and how the Hud Display is on the 8K-X in BVR Mode (key 2 on the keyboard).
Problem I have with the 8K is getting clarity on the hud, although DCS works really well at PiTool 1.5, FFR Aggressive, FOV Large, SteamVR 100% and DCS Render 1
