It needs to be enabled for some games, but not others. It’s a ~30% slowdown when enabled, but all games should be compatible when it’s enabled.
Want the extra speed? Turn it off and run your game. If you see double images, you need to enable the option, otherwise you can leave it off.
Pimax is building a list of compatible games, which includes whether or not this setting is required to be ON or not.
