Based my knowledge Voodoo and Sebastian ( MRTV) received 8k plus sample a couple days ago. Why they not reviewing it , no through the lens comparions, gameplay , nothing? Meybe they waiting for new pitool or what is going on here? Earlier Index and Reverb was immediately reviewed why this time is different?

I’m guessing because Sebastian was busy with Oculus news (boring) haha I’m not sure on Voodoo.
Voodoo was into the connection cable from the quest to pc (boring also)

Or they realize more people own oculus stuff so they are trying to reach that wider audience even though the new pimax headsets sitting on their shelf collecting dust is way more exciting to test!

I’m an 8KX backer and even I wouldn’t vote for myself unless I had the time to go through and compare the 8KX with all the other headsets. Which I likely won’t do cause I won’t be in the mood to use any other headset.

Facebook / Oculus = Spyware for the sheeple
Pimax = cutting edge VR tech for enthusiasts.
Wouldn’t touch an Oculus with a 10 foot barge pole given the controlling entity. Imagine what those built in cameras will be sending home to FB when in use. Stuff that and Mark Z.

Are you really that blind? Have you even see the technological progress of their varifocal thing, aka half dome? Thats insane. Pimax, cutting edge technology? I wouldn’t say so, most likely hacks to make it work. Also Oculus is playing the long game here. 1300$ for a headset, and you wonder why you guys complain for such high price, when oculus will bring all those goodies and more for an affordable price you will complain again…jeez sheeps nowadays…
Without Oculus we wouldn’t even have most of the amazing games for VR. And Valve what are they doing? Not even until this point they have yet to share one of their under-development three games.
Pimax to me feels more like technological hacks to make most of the things work and not even done in the right way probably. And probably not even until this point they have fixed the distorsion on the edges.
Oh and do you know that Oculus also uses machine learning for algorithms? Try tell this to Pimax lmao.
You guys should stop all this hating on facebook/oculus, they have more research labs than Pimax/HTC will ever have and probably matched by Valve or so.
