As a side note, are they showing this on th 5K? 'cause from what I’ve noticed in reviews and videos, the 5K prototype has the glowing LEDs on the front and the 8K is the one with the blue painted line, no LEDS, and a slight ding on the front edge. But perhaps I’m wrong. Or perhaps this is on the new prototypes they plan on showing off.

Looks very nice! I am pretty sure this is the 8K. As far as the LED, from what I understand, both models have them, and you can customize them to show whatever color you like (within reason).
Both models will be released with the LEDS, but currently on the prototypes, it seems only the 5K has them on them, and the 8K doesn’t yet
Show us the text in Elite, the telltales on the ship hud (energy levels etc), the 1-2-3 menus !

That ED vid looks very promising - way better than my Rift - this is going to be a long wait until delivery of my 8K
Can you hold the camera up to the lens longer, more slowly, CLOSER, and clearer please? Other than that, GREAT CAESAR’S GHOST! You can actually see detail! I WANT ONE. @PimaxVR

I think they said only making clpl model. & the video says 8k not 5k

Lol why do people the LCD can’t have good black levels? Usually on less it’s a poor display the only way you can tell the blacks are not black is in a room with no light at all , apple iPad is a good example of a LCD PANEL the great black levels well the newer ones any ways.

To ease tension/apprehension and raise even more funds, Pimax should rush themselves over to Tested with their latest iterations.
I suggested in a private message they go to linus tech tips with the final prototype. Provided it works properly they would get a massive boost. They seemed keen on the idea
They should honestly go just about everywhere they can with it.
