Valve like modular Knuckle Controller Concept

Will do so :wink:

In the meantime i made this little picture to explain why the Banana shaped Controllers are a bad idea in terms of ergonomics and for your health.

As you can see Controllers like the Gear VR Controller or the Valve Knuckle… force your hand into a ulnar deviation which means your hand is slightly rotated down towards your ulna. This is not much but in combination with the small handle which almost forces you into a closed hand and the stretched out index finger, puts your muscles and tendons under a constant strain.

This leads us directly to the next problem which i mentioned earlier and is also described in this video.

If you like to do a natural grip with the Banana shaped Controllers like holding a stick… or just to feel comfortable with the Grip you will need to turn your hand back in the neutral position and your index finger needs (wants) to slide all the way back to the other fingers.

On my Design if you want to pull the index finger trigger you pull in the same direction as you would close your hand to form a fist. (on the same axis).
On the Banana shape if you pull the trigger you are doing this angled to the normal grip axis of the other fingers. That`s why people report they want to slide their index finger.

Green = neutral position
Blue = ulnar deviation
Yellow arrows = way your fingers travel to perform a firm grip (Fist)
Yellow Spot = position of index finger to perfom natural grip
