Valve Lighthouse v2 + knuckles controller vs Pimax basestation and controller?

Pimax states that the new HMDs (promoted on kickstarter) will be compatible with Valve’s tracking system and controllers both version 1 and version 2.

I have few questions about the compatibility with Valve’s new designs:

  1. Does Pimax have the dev versions of the new v2 lighthouse and knuckles controller from Valve and are they validating the new HMDs with them?

  2. Would it be possible to buy Valve’s new lighthouses and controllers for Pimax HMD in the future?
    I mean, if I pledge for HMD only, before the HMD arrives, it is possible that the new lighthouses and controllers from Valve will already be available on the market.

  3. Does Pimax plan to supply Valve’s lighthouses and controllers in the future with theirs HMDs instead of theirs own?

  4. What should be the incentive to get Pimax base station and the controller instead of the ones from Valve?

  5. I have already seen dev. version of Valve controllers, but so far none of Pimax controllers. When Pimax plans to announce its own controllers? If it does not happen before the end of Kickstarter campaign it would make the pledge for them quite risky.

Q2 is answered by your opening statement. Compatable with v1 & v2.

Q1 i beleive PiMax is basing theirs on Valve Knuckles. I am hoping they will offer 2 versions one with default trackpads & a set with sticks (i’d grab both sets as certain games might suit a stick over pad) ie flight games & fps locomotion
